Photo I took during my stay in Guatemala City. Such a truly amazing place. The city that most travelers won’t even look at twice was a haven of beautiful sites and atmospheres. From the raw colorful/grim parts to the modern metropolitan zones, the moods and inspirations felt here were a powerful experience. Currently, I’m in the process of revising my 35mm photos for a book/magazine about the Guatemala trip. Anyone willing to help with printing and or publishing please contact me. I look forward to putting this thing to life.
We held each other in the empire of hate
Then dragged through dreams our bodies set ablaze.
Become two ghosts of Sunday film
Like sister and brother
Kissing myself, holding myself
As if you were somebody else
In the empire of my soul
From an empire long, long ago.
Beacons of passion in the empire of doom
Fell like a nuke into my black pupil
I know Im unbelievable
To those I can’t relate to
And if I ever did with you
Could I escape the unfulfilled doom
Having a laugh behind my back
In the empire of my heart
As the empire falls apart
Through the stained glass I see fire
In the empire, in the empire, in the empire.
